Silver engraved clock watch by Abel Durade
–
A silver pierced and entirely engraved pocket watch made circa 1770 in the Netherlands and arround 1700 in Geneva, Switzerland. The watch has a verge movement, the dial is made of enamel, and the case is made of silver and pierced and engraved. The watch is signed on the movement by Abel Durade, who is likely the maker of the watch. Additionally, the small chimera marking on the rim signifies that it is a French import.
