Gold quarter repeater by Dubois Frères

A Swiss 18 Carat gold open faced quarter repeating verge pocket watch, circa 1810. Gilt full plate movement, pierced and engraved cock, silver regulator disc, fusee and chain, plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring, push pendant for quarter repeating, the repeater strikes on a steel gong, slider in order to block the repeater. Case with ribbed middle and engine turned back. White enamel dial with black Arabic numerals and Breguet hands.
Cuvette signed and numbered.
