An excellently preserved large gold enamel pocket watch ‘Paillon’, made by Van Overklift in Dordrecht, the Netherlands, circa 1800. The numbered open faced case of this watch was crafted from 18 Carat gold, and has a beautiful multi coloured enamel ‘paillon’ work on the back lid. The white enamel dial has an outer ring with black Arabic hour numerals and gold hands. The movement has a verge escapement.

Dial and movement are signed.
