Dutch verge pocket watch in pair cases

A Dutch 22 carat gold verge in pair cases, circa 1765. Full plate fire gilt movement, square baluster pillars, pierced and engraved cock with an angel, pierced and engraved foot and plate for the silver regulator disc, fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel set-up between the plates, plain three-arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Signed white enamel dial with a very small hairline. Black Roman and Arabic numerals, nice gilt hands. Smooth inner case. Gilt metal outer covered in shagreen decorated with gilt pique pins.
