An early pocket watch made by Isaac Birdwhystell in London, England, circa 1700. The solid open face case of this watch is crafted from silver  and carries the case maker’s mark DA. The original especially beautiful champlevé dial has Arabic numerals for the minutes and Arabic numerals for the hours and probably original iron hands. The early English movement has a verge escapement with Egyptian pillars.
