Early silver pair cased verge watch of high quality, signed by Quare London, circa 1700. A silver pair case, pierced and engraved, silver watch with a brass pair case, originally leather covered and studded with silver, verge movement with alarm, full plate fire gilt movement, pierced and engraved balance cock. Silver champlevè dial, Roman numerals, steel Beetle and Poker hands. Made in Germany or probably Switzerland.
