An exceptionally large oignon pocket watch made by Denis Dominice in Genève, Switzerland, circa 1700. This watch is pair cased and crafted from silver. Its white enamel dial has Roman hours, an outer minute track, Arabic five minute numerals and gilt hands. The magnificently decorated movement features a verge escapement, and an extremely high and steep fusee.
The movement is signed.
