A Swiss 18 carat rose gold keywind, minute repeating pocket watch, this exquisite timepiece is from the early 19th century, circa 1820. Gilt brass high-quality movement, cylinder escapement, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring with temperature compensation.
One of the standout features of this pocket watch is its minute repeating function. Activated by a button on top of the pendant, this mechanism allows the user to hear the time being chimed on two gongs. A simple twist and push of the button is all it takes to activate this enchanting feature. Cuvette signed.
A solid, polished case, engine-turned band, hinged gold engraved cuvette.
A guilloche silver dial with painted radial Roman numerals , outer minute track, subsidiary seconds at six o’clock, blued steel Breguet hands.
This Swiss pocket watch is not only a collector’s item but also a piece of history. In excellent condition.
