A very fine French, rare and elegant, thin platinum pocket watch, circa 1930.
A solid, polished case, case back with initials RG in black enamel inlay. Two-tone guilloche silver dial with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with 5-minute Arabic markers. Blued steel cathedral hands. Movement signed European Watch and Clock Co., rhodium-plated, Geneva striping decoration, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with eight adjustments, blued steel flat hairspring. Dial signed Cartier, case and movement signed European Watch & Clock Co.
