A fine and rare Swiss, elegant, keyless, thin platinum Art Deco dress watch, circa 1938.
A polished case, curved band, rounded bezel, case back with a round border, inverted U shaped bow. Two tone silver dial with applied white gold Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. White gold épée hands. A very flat, rhodium plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, compensated balance with gold and platinum poising screws, adjusted to five positions and temperature, blued steel flat hairspring, index regulator, going barrel.
Dial, case and movement signed.
