An English gold keyless wind pocket watch by Barraud & Lunds, 49 Cornhill, London, London hallmark for 1884. Gilt 3/4 plate English lever, cut and compensated bimetallic balance, raised barrel. White enamel dial, black Roman numerals, black outer minute track, blued steel spade hands and subsidiary seconds at 6. Polished hinged case, button in the band at 1 o’clock which is depressed for winding. Case stamped ‘HMF’, dial and movement signed. Signed dial & movement, case stamped HCD.
