Aluminium deck watch by Moscow factory

A very rare Russian aluminium, small chronometer with double barrels and constant force lever escapement, circa 1960. Accompanied by the fitted mahogany deck box and key. In the name of Kirov made in only 150 pieces. An aluminium case, shuttered winding aperture, screw down milled edge bezel. Two tier mahogany box with glazed viewing port. Matte silver dial with black Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and power reserve indication and blued steel alpha hands.

A gilt movement, Geneva striping decoration, cylindrical pillars with polished steel screws, twin going barrels with tandem winding, 8 day going, jewelled constant force lever escapement, straight line lever, the escape wheel pivot with pinion geared to a further wheel with 10 second remontoire impulsing the escapement for constant force via a four arm pirouette, mono metallic balance with meantime and temperature adjustment screws, free sprung Breguet balance spring.
