Gold half hunting cased centre seconds lever

An English centre seconds lever in a gold half hunter case, hallmarked London circa 1913. Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. English table roller lever escapement, screwed in jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones. Signed white enamel dial with centre seconds, Roman numerals and blue steel half hunter hands. Substantial plain 18 carat half hunter case with blue enamel chapter ring, engraved monogram on the back cover. Gold cuvette. Maker’s mark ‘JWB Ld’ in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.
