A heavy, large English pocket chronometer with spring detent escapement, circa 1846.
Silver, tiered, polished case with engraved monogram. Signed, numbered enamel dial with radial Roman hours, auxiliary seconds, and blued spade hands. Full plate movement, keywind, fire gilt, signed, chain/fusee, bimetallic chronometer balance (24 mm) with four dimension limiting screws, blued freesprung helical balance spring, and chatoned diamond endstone on balance.
