A heavy English deck watch with stoppable center seconds, circa 1894. Made by chronometer maker of the Royal Observatory London, Sir John Bennett.
18 carat gold monogrammed case with hallmarks London 1894 and signed dome; English precision lever movement, also signed and numbered, matching numbers with the case, prime quality with screwed gold chatons and blued steel screws; original white enamel dial in very good condition with Roman hours, Arabic register, stoppable center seconds and blued spade hands.
