An English decorative gentleman’s gold enamel pocket watch for the Chinese market, circa 1810.
Gold enamel case with pendant and bezels set with half pearls; the back with elaborate engine turned wave pattern and translucid mauve enamelling, stylized flower with multicolour translucid enamel petals and  peripheral frame of translucid pearl and gold tendrils. Enamel dial with radial Roman numerals, centre seconds and gold spoon-shaped hands. Gilt full plate movement, keywind with chain/fusee, duplex escapement, three-arm brass balance and engraved regulator scale.
