An exquisite English sterling silver and enamel hunting cased lever pocket watch made for the Chinese market, hallmarked London 1869.
Both sides of the case with a polychrome enamel portrait of a lady over translucent green enamel ground, reeded midsection. Original white enamel dial with black Roman hours, red Arabic minutes, sunk subsidiary dial for the seconds and blued steel hands. English lever movement, blued steel screws. Dial, case and movement numbered, the case and movement with matching numbers.
