An English fusee duplex in a silver open-faced case, hallmarked London circa 1831. Full plate gilt keywind fusee movement with signed and numbered gilt dust cover. Harrison’s maintaining power. Engraved cock with diamond endstone, compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. English duplex escapement, brass escape wheel, pivots with endstones. Fully restored white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, and blue steel hands. Plain silver open face case. Maker’s mark ‘WW’ in a rectangle.
