Early gilt pair cased clock watch by Henry Ladbrooke

An English gilt pair cased hour and half hour striking verge clock watch, circa 1705.
Deep full plate fire gilt quality movement with five round pillars and two barrels, one barrel for time and one barrel for striking, fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates, wound through the back plain three armed steel balance and pierced and engraved cock with small vestigial wings, pierced and engraved foot, silver regulator disc. Striking of the hours and half hours on a bell in the case, slide in the inner case band to activate and deactivate striking.
White dial with Roman numerals, gold poker and beetle hands. Gilt pierced inner case. Later specially made, plain, outer case, circa 1833-1834, maker’s mark ‘JB’.
