An extremely heavy and high quality 18K gold Grande Sonnerie Clockwatch, Meuron et Comp. Genève, circa 1820. An 18K pink gold, engine turned case with serrated band, extremely high quality, glazed movement with spring lid, rim with levers for striking and muting, movement with visible highly complicated striking mechanism, polished steel parts, visible balance bridge, made of polished steel and of extraordinary design, Grande-Sonnerie self strike, repeating the hours and quarters to every quarter of an hour, furthermore repeating the quarters by pressing the pendant, enamel dial, blued Breguet steel hands, very beautiful condition, one screw missing at the case rim, otherwise nearly like new and little used.
