A very fine English 18 carat gold pair cased free sprung chronometer pocket watch, circa 1803. Gilt full plate movement with engraved balance cock, blued steel helical balance spring with Arnold Detent escapement, cut and compensated balance with large Keystone weights.
White enamel dial signed John Gaskin Dublin with Roman numerals and large subsidiary seconds. Case 18 carat gold inner and hinged outer bearing the London Hallmark for 1803. Dial and movement signed.
