A gentleman’s splendour, paste set pocket watch “a trois couleurs” with Massy Type I lever escapement according to Edward Massy, circa 1830. 18k gold case, punched “a trois couleurs” foliate scrolls on a “sable” ground, the center with a stylized flower, set with pastes, reeded band, engraved pendant and bow, paste set bezels on the front and back side.Gold dial, frosted, engine turned centre, applied flower decor “a trois couleurs”, radial Arabic numerals, lozenge hands.
