We know of only two other pieces which are fitted with an automatic winding mechanism and have an English signature. 22k rose gold case, smooth, case maker punch mark “TH (Thomas Hardy)”. Dial is enamel, radial Arabic numerals, auxiliary seconds at “12”, gold arrow shaped hands. 1/2 plate movement, early oscillating weight wind movement lavishly engraved with cornucopias, frosted, gilt, blued screws, circular pillars, cylinder escapement, three-arm steel balance, blued balance spring, engraved balance cock, fine adjusting device, chatoned diamond endstone on balance.
