A fine English 18 carat pair cased quarter repeating verge pocket watch, circa 1797. Gilt full plate verge movement with pierced and engraved balance cock, silvered regulation disc, squared baluster pillars, two polished steel hammers striking on a bell.
Rose gilt dial with Roman chapter and outer minute divisions, signed in the centre Weltdon London.
Pierced and engraved inner case with bell to the back, gilt cuvette engraved with London, pierced and engraved repoussé outer case depicting a rural drinking scene.
