A very fine Danish gold-plated open faced pocket watch, circa 1840. A polished case with a gilt cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer minute track and gold spade hands. Gilt brass, full plate movement with column pillars, fusee with chain, cylinder escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring and gilt brass English-style clock. Signed on dial and movement.
