An English important pair cased, quarter repeating à toc, verge pocket watch, circa 1781-1808.
18 carat gold pair cases: 1st case with sound openings and floral decorations, 2nd case smooth with dedication, London hallmarks 1795 and casemaker’s punch IW. Matching numbers on case and movement, signed and numbered dome. Very fine English, also signed and numbered, cylinder movement with diamond endstone, extravagant bridge and repeating hours and quarters à toc. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals and pink gold hands.
