An extraordinary English half-hunting cased pocket watch for the Ottoman market, circa 1820.
This watch consists of a white enamel dial with Ottomans numerals, a case of brass, fire gilt, tortoiseshell, Vernis Martin, and stud decoration. It has a full plate movement, a chain/fusee, an Ottoman signature, a verge escapement and a three-arm steel balance.
