An interesting, early English deck watch with chatelaine, made by William Tarleton Liverpool “Watchmaker of Repute” 1763-1807.
Smooth formerly gilt pair cases with original signed and numbered dome. Full plate movement with verge escapement, lateral stop device for the seconds, movement with engraved decorations and diamond endstone. White enamel dial with decentralized time dial, oversized seconds for observation purposes and original gold hands. The watch includes a chatelaine, unusual seal with 6 different sides and probably original watch key.
