An English lever in a gold open-faced case, hallmarked London circa 1906. Gilt three-quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator and diamond endstone. Compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. English table roller lever escapement, screwed in jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones. Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel fleur-dis-lis hands. Substantial plain 18-carat open face case. Maker’s mark ‘JW’ in an oval.
