John Bushman (also Buschman or Buschmann) was born in Augsburg in 1661. As Johannes Bushman he married the 23-year-old Mary Wyatt in the Christ Church in London in 1690. In 1692 he was accepted as a brother in the London watchmakers’ guild. As far as is known, Bushman worked until 1725 and is mentioned in literature as a fine watchmaker like Daniel Quare or Thomas Tompion.
