An English, London pocket watch with pointed lever escapement in a silver case with enamel decoration, circa 1877.
Full plate movement, chain/fusee, three-armed gold balance, lever escapement. Signed enamel dial with Roman radial hours, outer minutes track, subsidiary dial for the seconds, and blued pear hands. Silver case, the back lavishly engine-turned and translucent steel-blue enamel, geometric glossy platelet decor in gold and aquamarine, case maker punch mark P: W, inside cover with dedication engraving: To Karim for 10 Years of Service CD Heatherstone Calcutta 1889.
