–
An extremely rare numbered deck chronometer with original box, made by Molyneux & Sons on 44 Devonshire street in London, England, circa 1829. The plain open faced was crafted from silver and the white enamel dial has black Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at six o’clock with black Arabic numerals and blued steel hands. The very fine chronometer movement in the manner of Earnshaw has a helical hairspring and a diamond end stone.
Box, case, dial and movement have matching numbers and box and movement are signed.
