A fine, small Friedberg pair cased quarter repeating verge pocket watch, circa 1730. The case is silver, galant Repoussé scene, pierced rocaille decoration, large lateral hinge, grotesque ornaments, signed movement protection cap. Dial is enamel, radial Roman numerals, Louis XVI hands. Full plate movement, keywind, applied florally engraved and pierced ornaments, frosted, gilt, chain/fusee, baluster shaped movement pillars, signed, blued screws, 2 hammers, 1 bell, verge escapement, three-arm steel balance, engraved pierced balance cock with grotesque ornaments, blued regulator disc.
