A rare English silver hunting cased center seconds pocket watch with mock pendulum made for the Chinese market, circa 1850. Key wind duplex movement. Attractive white enamel dial with a  polychrome enamel painting, small eccentric time indication at 12 o’clock with Roman hours, an outer minute track and spade hands, a further outermost track for the center seconds with Arabic five minute/second numerals and an aperture at 6 for the mock pendulum. An engine turned case with plain bezels, pendant and bow. The cuvette is inscribed Duplex Pendule.
