A museum quality English quadruple cased key wound gentlemen’s pocket watch made for the Ottoman market, circa 1840-1860. The movement with a verge escapement. The white enamel dial with Ottoman numerals and blued hands.  A silver, partly gilded protective case, the first outer case plain silver and the second outer case has tortoiseshell inlays decorated with studs. Dial signed, movement numbered. Comes with the original key.
