An 18th Century English silver verge in plain silver pair cases, circa 1775. Full plate fire gilt movement with square baluster pillars. Pierced and engraved cock, engraved foot and plate for the silver regulator disc. Fusee and gut line worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Winding through the back, Roman and Arabic numerals and decorative gilt hands hands.
