An English silver pair cased verge pocket watch, circa 1813. Gilded full plate movement with a verge escapement, pierced and engraved balance cock, cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain. White enamel dial with the name of the watch’s owner spelt, Geo.e Ollivants, instead of numerals for indicating the hours, an outer minute track, the sunk center with a polychrome enamel landscape scene showing a farm and a man fishing in the lake and blued spade hands. A plain inner and outer case, the back of the inner case with a winding aperture. Movement signed and numbered
