English verge pocket watch in underpainted horn gilt pair cases circa 1790. Full plate fire gilt movement with round pillars. Very beautiful pierced and engraved cock, engraved foot and plate for the silver regulator disc. Fusee and chain. Plain three-arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals, gilt hands. Gilt metal pair cases, smooth inner case. The outer covered in horn underpainted.
