An English spindle (verge) pocket watch with regulator dial, full calendar, moon phase and central seconds, circa 1800.
Full plate movement, chain/fusee, three-armed steel balance, verge escapement. Enamel dial decorated with two delicate, blue floral tendrils and five displays: a decentralized hour number ring with Roman numerals at 12 o’clock, a number ring for the date at 3 o’clock, a number ring for the month display at 5 o’clock, the different phases of the moon at 7 o’clock and the weekday display at 9 o’clock. Polished plain 18K rose gold case. Movement signed.
