A fine, stainless steel and black enamel, keyless dress pocket watch with Class A Observatory movement, circa 1940. Stainless Steel and Enamel Prince Imperial Rolex, retailed by Alex Clark. Two-body, shaped, Satine with black lacquered borders. Two-tone matte silver dial and quartered satiné with black Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds, blued steel Breguet hands. Observatory, shaped, rhodium-plated movement, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance timed in eight positions, Rolex patented cap, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
