Steel open faced lever chronograph by Ulysse Nardin

An unusual and distinctive Swiss red digit pocket chronograph Chronometer in steel with mechanical movement, circa 1910. This watch features a hand wound mechanical lever movement. It has a white enamel dial with a black painted minute track and red Arabic numerals, blued steel Stuart pear hands, perpetual seconds at 6 o’clock, a 30 minute totaliser at 12 o’clock, and a central second hand for the chronograph function. The steel case has a smooth bezel, a fluted pink gold crown with an integrated pusher, and a screw down case back. The case, dial, and movement are signed. It is accompanied by a period case.
