Metal open faced partly skeletonized pocket watch
–
A Mobilis Tourbillon pocket watch in a very rare special edition, made by Th. Picard Fils in la Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, circa 1910. This watch features a plain open faced metal case that is both durable and stylish, the enamel dial is partly skeletonized and the tourbillon movement is a marvel of modern horology, with each movement signed and numbered according to patent 30754. The anchor escapement ensures that the watch keeps accurate time, while the tourbillon mechanism compensates for any errors caused by gravity.
