Gold quarter repeating pocket watch

An exquisite German A. Lange & Söhne half hunting quarter repeating pocket watch, manufactured in quality 1A, circa 1888. The watch features an 18-carat pink gold case that has a monogram CT engraved on it. The movement is glazed, and the Roman numerals are inlaid. The dial is made of enamel and has Arabic numerals. The 3/4 plate movement has two hammers and two gongs, while the gold screw compensation balance ensures accurate timekeeping. The red minutes on the dial create a beautiful contrast against the bright gold of the case.
