A very fine Swiss, 18 carat rose gold open faced pocket watch, circa 1939. A polished plain case, silver dial with applied rose gold batons indexes, outer minute track, subsidiary sunk seconds dial and white gold rose gold hands. Rhodium plated movement, Geneva striping decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and five positions, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan neck micrometre regulator. Dial, case and movement signed.
