Swiss gold and enamel key wind pocket watch Circa 1820

A very fine and rare Swiss unusual 18 carat gold and enamel pocket watch with vase shaped movement circa 1820. Gilt brass full plate movement decorated on both sides with engraved flowers and fluting, and an applied polychrome enamel plaque on the back depicting two children with a hound. Fusee and chain, cylindrical pillars, a verge escapement, plain brass three arm balance, flat balance spring and foliate pierced two footed cock. The case with a reeded band, plain bezels, pendant and bow, and glazed on both sides. Small, white enamel dial on the face with Arabic hour numerals, outer dot minute divisions and blued steel hands.
