Gold cylinder watch with enamel bouquet by Barrauds

An extremely fine, rare and large English 18 carat gold, enamel and pearl set pocket watch, circa 1810. Hinged, gilt full plate movement, going barrel, ringed cylindrical pillars, cylinder escapement with steel escape wheel, brass four armed balance, flat balance spring with Joseph Bosley patented regulator, gilded cock pierced and engraved with scrolling foliage. Gilded dust cap with finely engraved foliate border. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Case back with polychrome enamel summer bouquet on red translucent enamel over engine turned ground, both the front and back set with pearls. Dial signed, movement signed and numbered. Comes with a box.
