A fine quarter repeating pocket watch made by James Tregent in London, England, circa 1781. The case of this watch was crafted from solid silver and has London Hallmarks. The white enamel dial has Roman hour numerals, an outer minute track and gold spade hands. The numbered movement has a very fine quality verge escapement repeating the quarter hours on a gong.
The movement is signed.
