An impressive Danish 18 carat yellow gold, enamel and diamond set Art Nouveau keyless dress watch, circa 1923. A solid, brushed case, blue and white enamel bezels, the band with an engraved floral motif, hinged back with engraved a pillar motif, guilloché enamel with bow decoration bordered by rose cut diamonds, with a centered marble Virgin Mary. Champagne coloured dial with painted Arabic numerals, outer minute track and blued steel Breguet hands. Rhodium plated movement, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, wolf’s tooth winding, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator.
