A fine gold French enamel and paste set quarter repeating open faced watch, circa 1780, gilt verge movement, balance bridge pierced and engraved with scrolls.
White enamel dial, Roman numeral hours, outer Arabic numeral minute track, front bezel set with pastes, case band with screw-slide for a’toc, the back with red translucent enamel over guillochecentered by an enamel seaside scene, bezel with engraved foliate pattern with polychrome enamel, dial and movement signed.
