Pocket watch with hours and quarter repeater

A an exquisite full hunter cased watch with quarter repeater, made by the Breguet student Charles Oudin in Paris, France, circa 1875. This numbered full hunter cased pocket watch, which was crafted from 18 carat gold, has a monogram formed by gold dots on the back lid and the numbered cuvette is marked Horloger de la Marine, 17 Avenue de l’Opera, Paris The white enamel dial has a five minute outer scale with Arabic numerals, Roman hour numerals, a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock and blued steel hands. The movement has a very fine precision lever escapement and an hours and quarters repeater.
The dial and cuvette are signed.
